SCBA General Meeting
March 9, 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Location: Druid Hall - 1011 College Ave, Santa Rosa
Join us for our first in person meeting of the year!
We are excited to have Randy Oliver join us for our March General Meeting! Randy will be talking to us about the Concepts of Varroa Management - understanding the biology of the mite, selective breeding for resistance, management strategies, and organic miticides.
We will learn a lot from Randy as he talks about his research and experiences with Varroa.
SCBA's pre-meeting education series, starting at 4:30 with Christine Kurtz, is back. Christine will be talking about Hive Biology - why some colonies survive winter, while others do not, the biology behind the swarm, and different scenarios of what is going on in the colony.
Gardening for Bees will be hosting their first plant sale of the year with beautiful plants the pollinators will love!
