Sonoma County Beekeepers' Association 2010 APPRENTICE Swarm List
If you're a member of the general public, this isn't the page you should be
referring to. Please go to the Swarm List. This
page lists individuals who wish to be contacted by other beekeepers to tag
along to learn more about the process.
The apprentice swarm list is divided into multiple geographic zones. If
you're a beekeeper responding to a swarm call in one of these areas, please
consider contacting one of the people on this list and inviting them along
on your swarm trip. If you do so, be sure both parties are clear about
responsibilities, who gets the swarm, etc. If you charge a fee, it may be
fair to share with the apprentice if they provided useful assistance.
Apprentices: in addition to all of your regular gear, bring a camera, a
notebook, and something to write with.
