Starting out in beekeeping can be somewhat intimidating, even when you think you have done everything to be prepared. Well there is help...
Experienced SCBA Mentors are graciously sharing their experience and wisdom with new member beekeepers. Each mentoring relationship can be different, sometimes the mentor will have you assist them; other times they might come to your hives and assist you; sometimes they may just be available via email or phone to answer your questions. It is up to you and your mentor to agree on what the relationship will look like and how long it will last. The SCBA has created suggested guidelines for both Mentors and Mentees:

We encourage members with experience to share their knowledge with others as our mission states:
Our goal is to increase interest in and knowledge of bees and beekeeping for the hobby and commercial beekeeper, and to educate the general public in the value of bees.
