Privacy

SCBA firmly believes in members rights to privacy. Membership rosters are not published, and contact requests are carefully screened. The swarm list is comprised of members who elect to have their contact details published so that individuals with honey bee swarms and structure-inhabiting colonies may contact them.

In order to provide a more integrated experience with this website and to improve compatibility and ease of use, browser cookies may be used. As with virtually every website on the internet, this site logs web requests, and that data is available to the administrators of this website to analyse visitor interest and browser compatability. This data is not shared outside of the administration of SCBA.

To improve communication for SCBA, there are a number of instances where we may request your email address. This is for association use only - for notifying members of last minute changes to meeting venues, important notices, and library materials that are due take out reminders. Rest assured, we will NOT disclose your email address to other parties - not even to other association members.

Emails sent to board members may be distributed amongst the board members for review and discussion.

Emails sent to the newsletter editor are considered submission material for the newsletter unless the email specifically indicates otherwise.

We will not knowingly gather information from minors without parental consent.

Content Responsibility

This site contains links to internet resources published and maintained by third parties. At the time of publication, those links were deemed appropriate and of general interest to our membership. However, since documents published outside of our website are maintained by others, we have no control over those resources - links can become stale, or outside publishers may modify their content, adding or removing material.
